Jenny Nasr is development coordinator for the Microinsurance Network based in Luxembourg. An agriculture engineer with a background in environmental economics and journalism, she has worked as a research officer for the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization in Rome. She had the opportunity to tackle various subjects ranging from agricultural research, international standards for phytosanitary measures, biodiversity and the initiative on soaring food prices related to the financial crisis in 2008.
