2012In Egypt, Nebny’s Blueprint for Job Skills, Community Hope
In post-revolution Egypt, one group of young Egyptians, decided to rebuild Egypt through a different sort of NGO. Their vision was to create a youth-centered community development foundation the dual goals of building a sustainable economy, while simultaneously cultivate a sense of national identity and belonging: The Nebny Foundation.

2011Building an Egypt@Work, a Focus on Skills and Entrepreneurship
NGO Nahdet El Mahrousa and The International Youth Foundation (IYF), in partnership with MasterCard Foundation, recently launched Egypt@Work ? a program focusing on eliminating youth unemployment and promoting entrepreneurship in Egypt. Egypt@Work is collaborating with local NGOs, donors and the private sector to provide training and workshops.

2011Building Enterprises, Sustaining Optimism: Revolution 2.0 in Post Mubarak-Egypt
Almost nine months after the revolution, mistrust against civil society and foreign investment remains high, while bureaucracy continues to slow the emergence of new ventures. Clearly, social entrepreneurship needs its own 2.0 revolution to overcome many obstacles in the post-Mubarak Egypt.
