Laura is a recent graduate of the University of Mary Washington and studied Economics and Anthropology. She was a visiting student at Oxford University, and lived and studied in Madagascar in the fall of 2011. She is on the global leadership teams of both the Month of Microfinance and the Two Dollar Challenge, and organized the 2013 Poverty Action Conference which brought together students and practitioners in development to improve the way development is practiced. She is an alumna of three years on the La Ceiba student team, where she developed and implemented an impact assessment program.
