Laura Muñoz Pérezstarted her career in Morocco, where she worked for the Economic and Commercial office of the Spanish Embassy. In 2006, she joined NODUS Consultores, a consultancy firm specialized in microfinance where she worked for donors including IFC, EIB, IFAD, KfW and IDB. Since December 2011, she has been working as Technical Advisor atYouthStart, a UNCDF programme aimed at supporting strong FSPs in developing, piloting and rolling out youth-focused financial products, especially savings, and NFS. Laura is the co-lead author of the UNCDF study ‘Building the Business Case for Youth Services’. She holds a master in International Business Administration and postgraduate studies in banking management.
