Unite for Sight

Laura Reynolds is program manager at Unite for Sight. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in International Health and Development. As an undergraduate, she worked on a water and sanitation project in the Ecuadorian Amazon, interned in the International Rescue Committee’s Environmental Health division in New York City, and organized a series of community events in Berkeley to bring awareness to the issues faced by the city’s homeless population. She is especially interested in the application of randomized controlled studies in determining the efficacy of global health interventions and the importance of insuring the highest level of ethical standardsin international clinical trials for the development of new pharmaceutical drugs.
