As Root Capital’s senior vice president of Value Chain Relations, Liam manages Root Capital’s business development activities and oversees fundraising, brand management, and private sector collaboration. He draws on 15 years of experience working in rural economic development and agricultural value chains in Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Prior to joining Root Capital, Liam was a program manager and campaign director for Oxfam America. He also served as director of sustainable coffee for Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. Liam holds an M.Ed. in social policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.S. in agricultural and extension education from Cornell University.
