Mallory Sheff

Mallory Sheff is a mission-driven leader at the intersection of data science and financial inclusion, with over a decade of experience advancing economic resilience and health equity across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. She specializes in building high-impact programs and cross-sector partnerships that harness data and technology to expand opportunity for underserved communities.

Mallory currently serves as Director of Product and Programs at DataKind. In this role, she leads a global portfolio focused on financial inclusion, developing innovative, data-driven solutions to improve access, usage and equity in financial systems for marginalized populations.

Prior to DataKind, Mallory held a leadership role at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, where she managed an $8 million portfolio across Ghana and Tanzania. There, she leveraged implementation science to strengthen primary health care systems and improve health outcomes at scale.

Mallory holds a Master of Public Health from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and a Bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University. Her work continues to bridge data, policy and social innovation to drive systemic change.
