Mark Mallon, executive vice president, international, of AstraZeneca, is responsible for the growth and performance of AstraZeneca’s international region, which predominantly includes commercial businesses in Asia Pacific, Russia, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to that, he served as regional vice president for Asia Pacific where he was accountable for AstraZeneca’s business in 14 markets. He joined AstraZeneca in 1994 and is currently based in Shanghai. He earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s in business administration degree from the Wharton School of Business.
