Maxime Cheng is programme manager of the Social Finance Academy at Roots of Impact. She combines her public policy background and experience from tech startups to develop the education platform and curate both the online and on-site educational experience in the field of social finance. Before joining the team, Cheng built an impact measurement and evaluation database at Impact Hub (Global), as well as advised mission-driven organisations and policymakers on the subject. She holds a Master of Public Policy from Hertie School of Governance, with a focus on impact evaluation. She conducted research on the design process of impact indicators of Social Impact Bonds in Europe in her final thesis.
