Nancy Castillo
CFSI

Nancy Castillo leads the development and implementation of the US Financial Diaries and the integration of research findings into CFSI work. She also supports CFSI’s consulting engagements. With a background in international and domestic economic activities, Nancy is passionate about creating a financial services marketplace that enables people to improve their lives.

From her past work experience, Nancy brings to CFSI a rich perspective on migrant transnational economic activities across the United States and various countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia, Africa, and Europe. She was an Associate for the Remittances and Development program at the Inter-American Dialogue in Washington, DC; a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs in Pittsburgh, PA; and a Fulbright Scholar in Ecuador.

When not at CFSI, she is either watching movies or planning her next trip. One of her life goals is to travel to every continent, and so far she is only two continents short. She received her B.A. in political studies and Latin American studies from Pitzer College, a member of The Claremont Colleges.
