Nkosinathi Nkosi is currently the Head of FinMark Trust Zimbabwe. He started off his career at Standard Chartered Bank as an Africa Graduate Trainee and then worked in various banks focusing on product development and innovations. He left banking to be the founding executive of one of the most successful mobile financial service solutions in Africa, EcoCash.

Nkosi is a well-known expert in mobile financial services. After taking a lead role as the financial services director across three mobile money providers in Zimbabwe, he effectively became the only individual to wear that hat in the country. From April 2018 he was managing director for mobile financial services and also the acting CEO of Zimbabwe’s second largest mobile network operator, NetOne.

He is passionate about youth entrepreneurship development in Africa and has effectively supported various initiatives across sub-Saharan Africa.
