Amitabh Saxena is Managing Director ofDigital Disruptions, a boutique consulting firm in digital financial services. He has 12 years hands-on experience in electronic payments and product innovation, most recently as Vice-President for MasterCard’s Emerging Products team, where he had overall responsibility for Mobile Money in Latin America. Previously, he started and led the Alternative Channels global practice area for ACCION International, consulting on mobile banking, prepaid cards, and banking agents. Amitabh also worked for the GSMA’s Mobile Money team in London, Jamii Bora Bank in Nairobi, Kenya, and in Capital One’s Product Innovation Center as a Product Manager.

Amitabh is fluent in English, French, and Spanish, and holds an MBA from INSEAD (France/Singapore) and a Bachelor’s of Mechanical Engineering from McGill University from his native Montreal, Canada. He currently teaches courses in Design Thinking and New Product Development as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Maryland.

Selma Ribicaleads M-Pesa commercial strategy for international remittances, interoperability and global strategic partnerships in Vodafone Group in London. She has over ten years of experience in business development and strategy roles across different industries (Mobile payments, E-commerce, Real Estate) in both emerging and developed markets (UK, Singapore, Russia, Czech Republic, Italy, France and African markets). Prior to joining Vodafone in 2012, Selma completed her MBA at INSEAD. She lived and worked in seven countries, speaks six languages and is passionate about enabling positive impact of innovative financial services to customers around the world.
