Sarah Bove
TechnoServe

Sarah Bove has 18 years of experience in international development and women’s empowerment — 14 of them in Mozambique. Currently, she serves as the Program Director for the Women in Business (WIN) program and acts as TechnoServe Mozambique’s gender lead. In this dual role, she offers advisory services and training on gender-responsive programming to both programs and staff.

Sarah joined TechnoServe in 2018 as the Program Manager for Business Women Connect, a program focused on women’s entrepreneurship and financial inclusion. Sarah previously lived for several years in Pemba, Cabo Delgado where she founded IKURU, an ethical fashion label that employed and trained women from vulnerable backgrounds. She has also held positions as a research consultant, monitoring and evaluation officer, and project coordinator, focusing on gender relations, sustainable livelihoods and migration. She holds a Master’s in International Development from Lisbon University Institute and a Bachelor’s in Social Studies from McGill University, Montreal. You can find her on LinkedIn here.
