Sophie is a Global Envision intern who graduated from Willamette University in Fall 2013 with a BA in Anthropology, her focus being on maritime cultures. In 2012 Sophie travelled to Malta as part of a research program to study the Bluefin Tuna illegal fishing industry, which later informed her senior thesis. Sophie played basketball all four years of college and enjoys being in the outdoors, reading, researching, riding bikes, and eating street food.
