Stephanie Cohn Rupp is head of impact investing at Tiedemann Wealth Management. She brings almost two decades of experience in international impact investing including impact fund design and implementation, microfinance, and crowdfunding. Prior to coming to Tiedemann, Cohn Rupp was leading the impact investing strategy at Threshold Group and she launched the firm’s presence in the San Francisco/Bay Area.

Cohn Rupp is the former CEO of Toniic and she has held positions at Omidyar Network, Planet Finance and ACDI/VOCA. Earlier in her career, she worked in the fixed income group at UBS Investment Bank in NYC and London and served as a consultant to the World Bank and UNESCO focused on education finance in sub-Saharan Africa.

She was a board director of multiple international nonprofits including MFX Solution, Landesa, MicroBuild Fund I, Mix Market, and Women Thrive Worldwide and was a Steering Committee member of Investors’ Circle. She is currently on ImpactAssets’ IA50 2018 Review Committee. Cohn Rupp holds a BSc in Philosophy and Politics from Bristol University, England, a Masters of Science from the London School of Economics, and an MPA from Harvard’s Kennedy School focused on Trade and Finance. She now lives with her husband, son and daughter in the Bay Area.
