Subarna Mukherjee is the frontline health systems director at Last Mile Health. Prior to joining Last Mile Health in 2013, she was a surgical oncology nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Her global health experience includes working to improve nutrition and physical activity policy in Georgia (U.S.); serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in a fishing village on the coast of Honduras; and providing palliative care at an HIV/AIDS care home in India as a William J. Clinton fellow. She has a bachelor’s degree in health promotion and behavior from the University of Georgia and a master’s in nursing as a clinical nurse leader from the Medical College of Georgia, and anticipates earning a master’s of public health from University of Maryland this summer.
