Tanvir Hossain is currently the manager for marketing and sustainability at Aarong. Tanvir oversees organisational branding, advertising, and promotion of artisan handicraft as well as ensuring sustainability in all operations. He previously headed Aarong’s social compliance programme which entailed ensuring ethical sourcing and capacity development of artisans. Prior to his engagement in social enterprise, he worked in the retail industry serving in both supply chain and operations management roles. Tanvir holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Baruch College – City University of New York.
