Ted started his career as one of the original members of Lux Research, a research and advisory firm that scouts venture investments in the energy and materials space for Fortune 500 companies. In 2007, he founded Lux Research’s Solar Intelligence practice – still its largest by revenue – and helped grow the company to over 65 employees today. Ted has evaluated the business models and technologies underlying hundreds of start-up companies developing solar and advanced materials technologies has been an invited speaker at venues like Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Northwestern University, and a broad array of solar industry conferences. Ted joined Lux Research from the University of Virginia, where he earned a B.S. in Finance, and is currently studying for his MBA from Columbia Business School.  Follow him on Twitter @Tednsullivan
