The Home-Grown Solutions Agribusiness Accelerator (HGSA-A) is a COMESA regional initiative that supports growth-stage agribusinesses.
The challenge is offering grants, including 8 "Seed Grants" of $25,000, 3 "Growth Grants" of $100,000, and 2 "Seeding the Future Grand Prizes" of $250,000 each.
The 8-month program develops the exceptional entrepreneurial skillset and mindset of leaders to drive social and financial impact.
The Global Food System Challenge is intended to support innovations that bring a significant benefit to at least one, but ideally several of the intersecting domains (see Innovation Focus Area diagram) and that have the potential for transformational impact at scale and over time.
All participating organizations will receive 12 months of free fiscal sponsorship from the New Africa Fund, with the possibility of extension.
