B2B Sales Intelligence Platform Apollo.io to Invest Over $30 Million in India

Apollo.io, an integrated business-to-business (B2B) sales intelligence and engagement platform, will invest over $30 million in India over the next two years.

It will open its first office space in India, in Bengaluru, to house a growing R&D team, and hire over 100 R&D engineers in the coming months, the company said in a statement.

Apollo.io said in March that it had raised $110 million in Series C funding, led by Sequoia Capital. Existing investors Tribe Capital, Nexus Venture Partners and NewView Capital had also participated in the funding round. The company said it would use the funds to accelerate product-led growth.

Apollo.io had over one million new user signups in the past year. It helps over 16,000 paying clients automate their sales processes and scale their revenue.
