Bangladesh Sought More Energy From Nepal, but Floods Have Halted Exports

Monsoon rains have routinely given Nepal a surge of hydropower, creating a surplus. Some of that surplus was used to supplement downstream neighbour Bangladesh’s fossil-fuel-dependent electricity supply.
