BII Commits $65 Million in Zambia and Zimbabwe to Strengthen Financial Markets and Unlock Investment in Frontier Economies

As part of the local launch of its new five-year strategy in Zambia, British International Investment (BII), the UK’s development finance institution and impact investor, is committing $65 million across Zambia and Zimbabwe to unlock investment in frontier markets. The investments combine innovative financing with technical assistance and support for local financial institutions to address barriers that limit business growth, trade and investment.
