IFC Providing $57 Million for Two Wind Projects in Vietnam

May 26 (Renewables Now) – The International Finance Corporation (IFC) announced today it will provide USD 57 million (EUR 46.6m) in financing to the developer of two onshore wind projects in Vietnam with a combined capacity of 54.2 MW.

Specifically, IFC is supporting the Phu Lac 2 and Loi Hai 2 projects located in the provinces of Binh Thuan and Ninh Thuan, respectively. Once up and running later this year, the wind parks will be producing some 170 million kWh of electricity annually.
