Kenya’s SunCulture Raises USD $5 Million to Scale Solar-Powered Irrigation in Africa

Kenyan climate-tech startup SunCulture, founded in 2013 by Samir Ibrahim (CEO) and Charlie Nichols, has raised USD 5 M from WaterEquity, a global asset manager focused on water and sanitation. It marks the first investment from WaterEquity’s new Water & Climate Resilience Fund and follows SunCulture’s USD 4 M raise earlier this year.
