Report: Adventure Tourism Fuels $1.5 Billion boost for South Africa’s Economy as Local Impact Supports 91,000 Jobs

A new white paper by the Southern Africa Tourism Services Association, in partnership with Futureneer Advisors, shows the sector generated R12 billion in direct revenue last year. When wider multiplier effects are included, its total contribution rises to R25 billion, equivalent to about $1.37 billion at current exchange rates.
