Uber Partners with Discovery Health to Deliver Flu Vaccinations in South Africa

Wednesday, May 20, 2015

Uber has partnered with Discovery Health to provide South Africans with access to flu vaccinations directly through its app.

Using the Uber app, individuals can request to have the flu vaccinations delivered to their doorstep on Friday, 22 May 2015, between 10:00AM and 4:00PM.

To use the service, open your Uber application and toggle over to the red cross icon. Set your pickup location, request a ride as you normally would, then wait for few minutes for a Discovery Health accredited nurse who will arrive at your location, ready to administer flu vaccinations for up to five patients.

The Discovery Health accredited nurses will come equipped with a flu prevention pack, stocked with a few surprise items from Uber and Discovery to keep you healthy during the winter months.
