Andres Baiza
Acceso El Salvador

Andres Baiza is the general manager of Acceso El Salvador, a farmer services and aggregation business built by the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership, which works with Salvadorian farmers and fishers to improve their livelihoods and bring them into high-value markets. He oversees all aspects of the business including technical assistance and inputs distribution, collection centers for quality control and processing, buyer relationships and logistics. He has been instrumental in helping Salvadorian supermarkets and fast food restaurants, including Super Selectos, Wendy’s, Pizza Hut and Subway, increase local sourcing of fruits, vegetables and fish. He has more than 10 years of experience in agricultural production and R&D, operations and commercialization with various companies in El Salvador and Nicaragua. He previously oversaw the production of coffee and various vegetables with a Salvadorian company, Renan, covering aspects from training on good agricultural practices and greenhouse construction to implementing new agricultural technologies and managing sales and deliveries to clients. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Preston University and is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from Nova Southeastern University.
