Urvashi Prasad
Operation ASHA

Urvashi Prasad is director of external affairs at Operation ASHA, one of India’s largest tuberculosis control NGOs. She is also on the governing board of the Partnership for TB Care and Control, India’s largest network of organizations working toward tuberculosis eradication. Previously, she managed the health, water and sanitation portfolio of the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in India for five years. She has also worked as a consultant for the World Health Organization in Geneva and Partnership for Child Development, Imperial College London. Urvashi is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community. She earned a bachelor’s degree in genetics from University of Birmingham, UK, a master’s in bioscience enterprise from University of Cambridge, UK, and a master’s in public health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
