Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership

Alethia Kang is the associate director of strategic development and communications at the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership (CGEP). She builds and manages relationships with global partners and supports business case development of social businesses that work with farmers, fishers and female entrepreneurs in developing countries. She also develops and leads the organization’s communications, marketing and thought leadership strategies. She previously worked on the monitoring and evaluation of agriculture and health programs in Peru with CGEP. She began her career with professional services firms KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers, working in the areas of audit and tax in Toronto, before deciding to pursue a career at the intersection of business, sustainability and poverty alleviation. She earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Toronto, and a chartered professional accountant designation from Canada. She is currently based in New York.
