Annie Shoemaker is a Senior Manager on the Strategic Initiatives Team. She previously worked as Associate Director on the Data Analytics team and as a literacy teacher at UncommonSchools, a network of charter schools in the Northeast U.S. Prior to Uncommon Schools, Annie was a strategy consultant at L.E.K. Consulting in Boston and New York. While working at L.E.K., Annie took a sabbatical to work as a fellow with TechnoServe in Swaziland focusing on women’s entrepreneurship.

Annie graduated with honors from Harvard University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Government and studied abroad at Sciences Politiques in Paris, France. She lives in New York.
