Ashay Abbhi is a Principal with the Energy and Climate Change team at Intellecap, a development sector advisory firm working for the emerging 3 billion people of the world. At Intellecap, he leads the e-mobility and renewable energy segments. He has been instrumental in designing funding facilities for scaling up e-mobility and solar energy as well as developing roadmaps for energy transition in multiple countries. His focus is on providing technical and financial advisory support to organisations and enterprises at regional and international levels, helping them to scale-up low-carbon technologies across existing and new markets.

Ashay has been published by various platforms for his views on sustainable transition for transport, energy, and power sectors. He was awarded Solar 40 Under 40 for Middle East and Africa by SolarQuarter for his work in the solar sector in the region. He has a management degree in energy and oil and gas management from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, India.
