60 Decibels

Ashley Speyer currently leads global Research Operations at 60 Decibels. She was part of the founding team that spun out of Acumen, where she began working in 2014 in the New York office and then transitioned to Nairobi, Kenya to grow the team’s Africa operations. Prior to joining Acumen, Ashley worked at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York. Her passion for social entrepreneurship began in 2007 when she partnered with a women’s cooperative and founded a non-profit organization in Tanzania. Ashley holds a B.A. in Sociology from Colorado College and a Masters in Social Business and Entrepreneurship from the London School of Economics.
