Audrey Misquith is a Digital Financial Solutions (DFS) expert at the UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) in Kathmandu, Nepal and a Senior Consultant for Amarante Consulting, a boutique DFS consulting enterprise. At UNCDF Nepal, Audrey oversees a remittance project that focuses on building remittance-linked use-cases for international migrants using digital innovations such as blockchain and hybrid credit scoring tools. She also leads projects on MSME financing with gender as an important focus.

Prior to UNCDF, Audrey consulted on a variety of projects in the food security, education and agriculture domains with organisations including the World Food Programme, Plan International and the Malala Fund. Before undertaking consulting assignments, she served as a Credit Manager at India’s largest commercial bank, the State Bank of India where she gained expertise in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) lending, value-chain finance, corporate finance, forex operations, digital banking and retail financial services. Through her various roles, Audrey has served in a gamut of geographical settings including West Africa, Brazil, India, Uganda, Nepal and the USA. Audrey holds a Master’s in International Development from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s in Finance from Bangalore University.
