Carolina Biquard

Carolina Biquard is a lawyer that has dedicated her professional life to strengthening Civil Society in Argentina. She holds a Masters Degree in Nonprofit Management from the New School for Social Research (NYC, USA).

She founded Fundación Compromiso in 1994 and was CEO until 2005. Drawing upon the philosophy of management specialist Peter Drucker, Fundación Compromiso developed and spread a new model of training and support for argentine social organizations, and helped them articulate their work with the business and public sector.

From 2007-2009, Carolina Biquard was the National Director of Cultural Industries. She is now the President of Fondo Nacional de Las Artes, a public institution dedicated to financing the artistic.
