The baby of ten, Cristina comes from a loving Cuban-American home in Washington, DC. Her parents unique struggle to escape from a dictatorship inspired her from a very young age to fight for social justice. She has managed Emzingo’s NexGen Fellowship in Peru, and now leads the development of the North American Academic market. Cristina graduated from Kenan-Flagler School at UNC Chapel Hill and completed a Masters in International Development at London School of Economics and Political Sciences.
