Dilwonberish Aberra is an associate program officer with the Financial Services for the Poor Program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Berea College in Berea, Ky., and a master’s degree in sustainable international development from Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass.
