Gavin Krugel is a co-founder and the CEO of Digital Frontiers; a specialised capacity building company focused on building SDG-aligned professions to help bridge human capital gaps slowing SDG implementation. He was one of the early pioneers in mobile payments. He used that experience to venture into the development sector to focus on the use of technology to disrupt the status quo in financial services, healthcare and education.

He has a love for the startup environment and is always looking to add value to early-stage startup boards. In addition to his role at Digital Frontiers, he is the Chairman at TroyTyla, an Executive Director at the Digital Frontiers Institute, and a Non-Executive Director at DiaspoCare.

His latest projects include empowering excluded young entrepreneurs and equipping gender equality champions with the skills they need to kindle change. He has a Master’s Degree in Global Business Management from Grenoble Ecole de Management in France, and is a blessed family man that has the privilege to live in Cape Town, South Africa. He is always looking to learn something new.
