Katharina Schilli
University of Turku

Katharina is a PhD student at the University of Turku, collaborating with corporations, startups and academia. Her work is grounded in her multidisciplinary work experience, often delving into the intersection of theory and practice, fostering collaborative work environments and internal value creation. 

Her early expertise in architecture has shaped her interest in complex ecosystems, capturing their fundamental patterns and incorporating human-centered perspectives. Continuing her education and work in innovation and business development, she transferred this mindset to organizations. Her PhD research investigates how subjective perceptions amongst employees of diverse organi­zational levels generate a common understanding, and how design methods may support collective company transformation. As a member of the award-winning Nordic Rebels Movement, she creates memorable learning experiences, empowering changemakers to tackle the grand challenges of today and tomorrow.
