Laura Cojocaru is an associate in the Customer Insights practice area at BFA. Her work is focused on demand and needs assessment, impact evaluation, and customer behavior change. Her interests include data analytics, survey design and implementation, financial diaries, behavioral economics, and experimental design. Prior to joining BFA, Laura worked at Oxfam America where she researched women’s savings groups from Mali, and at the University of Delaware. She holds a masters and Ph.D. degree in Economics, from the University of Delaware. Her Ph.D. thesis focused on the impact of financial development on growth and poverty in the Eastern European, former Communist countries.
