Laura Fortes is Senior Project Manager, Access to Finance at GOGLA. Before joining GOGLA, she held several positions as project manager of international campaigns for investment attraction in emerging economies, having developed projects in Nigeria, the Philippines, Panama and Mexico.

She is a finance graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. In her work experience, she found pleasure in working at the intersection of the private and the public sector and decided to study a Masters in Public Administration while working for Solarplaza, where she was introduced for the first time to the off-grid solar sector and GOGLA. In her free time, she enjoys being in nature and practicing yoga.
