Ashoka Full Economic Citizen Initiative

Linda Peia is a Change Manager in charge of overall coordination and management of the FEC portfolio. Linda joined the Full Economic Citizenship (FEC) initiative in 2007, starting in Mexico where she advanced the scale-up strategy of the Small-scale Farmer HVC and created the basis for an HVC movement. In 2010 she moved to Brazil, where she is currently supporting the expansion of “Housing for All”. Prior to Ashoka, Linda gained intersectoral experience with the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Cato Institute in the U.S., and Development Alternatives Inc. Brazil. She is the founder of two student organizations and the business plan developer of a social franchise business currently being incubated in Mexico. Originally from Romania, Linda has spent the past eleven years as a global changemaker. She speaks six languages and holds a Master in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) from the Harvard Kennedy School
