Marcos Sanjuán is the coordinator of Restorative Agriculture in Critical Ecosystems (RAICES) in the Eastern part of El Salvador at Catholic Relief Services. He has eight years’ experience working in water governance with other entities in Central America. Previously, he lived in India for one year promoting the Industrial ecology approach with ROI (2005-2006). His other fields of experience are: forest protection (Greenpeace, 2004), land stewardship techniques (XCT, 2002-2003) and capacity building for environmental NGOs (WWF-Mediterranean Program, 1997-2002). He has a degree and a master on Geography by the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and he is author of two books on water and sanitation planning at local level.
