Marjolaine Chaintreau is currently Vice President in Citi Microfinance team with a special focus on financial inclusion in Latin America and Africa. Working across Citi’s businesses, product groups and geographies, Citi Microfinance serves 150 microfinance institutions, networks and investors as clients and partners in nearly 50 countries, with products and services spanning the financial spectrum – from financing, access to capital markets, transaction services and hedging foreign exchange risk, to credit, savings and remittances products – to expand access to financial services for the underserved.

Marjolaine held positions in Citi as a risk analyst and relationship manager for Citi Corporate and Investment Bank in the UK and in Spain covering large corporate clients. Prior to joining Citi, Marjolaine graduated with a Master of Corporate Finance and Strategy from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and worked for a microfinance institution in South India in their finance and marketing departments.
