Mike McCaffrey is a Principal Consultant for MicroSave based in Nairobi, Kenya. He manages the Helix Institute of Digital Finance, which provides world class training in strategic operations for banks, telecoms, and third party providers globally, as well as the Agent Network Accelerator (ANA) programme which conducts large scale quantitative research on agent networks (bank and mobile money agents) in key countries in Africa and South Asia (the project has conducted over 20,000 interviews in its first two years).

Formerly Mike was a Peace Corps volunteer in Bolivia, a Regional Coordinator at Innovations for Poverty Action, and the Financial Inclusion Technical Specialist for the UNCDF South Pacific regional initiative called PFIP. Mike attended the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University, receiving a master’s degree in Development Economics & a graduate certificate in Science, Technology & Environmental Policy. He also holds B.A. degrees in Economics & Psychology from the University of California.

 

 

 

Jacqueline Jumah is currently a Manager – Strategic Operations for Digital Finance at MicroSave. She is a member of the Digital Financial Services (DFS) practice group based in Kenya and is primarily involved in The Agent Network Accelerator project. She is a professional with over seven years of experience in Digital Financial Services, Telecommunications and the Banking sectors. She has broad knowledge and experience in agent network deployment and scale-up, product and strategy development, market research, fraud and risk management, business development, marketing and relationship management.
