Patrick Obonyo is a . An experienced manager in strategic philanthropy, he advises philanthropies and international non-governmental organisations on education, youth employment, entrepreneurship and sustainability.

Patrick has great expertise in grant management, monitoring and evaluation, and has managed large multi-stakeholder partnership across three continents: Europe, Asia and Africa. He develops new and innovative investment opportunities, and provides consulting and strategic insight on strategy development and execution, project management, evaluation and impact assessment. At the IKEA Foundation, he manages a portfolio of programmes and partners working on Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship in Asia and Africa. He also sits on the board of Family for Every Child, was a co-founder of a leadership development programme for young African leaders, and has researched strategic impact optimization and strategic change in philanthropic organizations.
