Paul Kyoma Asiimwe

Paul Kyoma Asiimwe is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Makerere University. He holds an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from CMU Africa. His research focuses on energy access and transition in low-income urban contexts, particularly the quality, reliability, and safety of electricity supply in informal settlements. He is passionate about advancing clean cooking technologies. He is currently investigating the technical feasibility and economic viability of standalone solar electric cooking systems as sustainable solutions for informal urban communities.
