Rakhi Sahay is head of Knowledge Management at Impact Investment Exchange (IIX).

Prior to IIX, Sahay worked with Spire Research and Consulting, a market research company in Jakarta, where she led the consulting and advisory practice around access to finance and mobile banking. Having worked in leadership positions for over 15 years in international development, Sahay possesses strong knowledge management, business development, cross functional management and strategic communication experience in South and South East Asia. As part of senior management, at MicroSave, a financial inclusion consulting, Sahay conceptualized and led projects on knowledge integration that created positive impact on the business. Being South East Asia Lead at Access Development Services, Sahay has set-up operations in newer geographies for work on financial inclusion.

Sahay has worked on corporate social responsibility and micro enterprise development in India where she studied close to 100 SMEs while judging the Citibank’s Citi Micro Entrepreneurship Awards. A believer in shared-value partnership, Sahay worked with a Singapore based partnership innovation hub where she led work on impact measurement framework and stakeholder management.

Sahay is an alumnus of International Visitors Leadership Program, a US Department of State’s premier professional exchange program that recognizes emerging leaders. Holding a Masters degree from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, India, Sahay specializes in urban and rural community development. She holds Certificate in Microfinance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
