Santiago Mesa Bogotá is Manager of Agtech at Acceso, a social business builder whose mission is to create fundamental and lasting economic change in the lives of rural farming families and communities in Latin America and the Caribbean. As part of this role, leads all agtech at Acceso, including the operations, tech development and content creation for Extensio, Acceso’s digital field agent, and Farmforce (farmer management) platforms, as well as social impact reporting and dashboarding. He started his career in the technology sector working at Oracle Corp, where he improved customer adoption and expansion of the cloud footprint in Latin America. He also previously interned at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), where he developed resource mobilization proposals for the Caribbean region.

Santiago is an Industrial Engineer from Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia. Santiago also has a master’s degree with honors in Management from University Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Italy with focus on social entrepreneurship and sustainable business models. He is passionate about bringing innovation and tech to the UN SDG agenda, one that targets environmental and social challenges for a better world.
