Tom Harrison is a sustainable development professional with 30 years of experience from more than 15 countries across Africa and South Asia. His most recent position is serving as Technical Director at Business Innovation Facility (BIF). In addition to supporting BIF’s work in Myanmar, he helps large companies develop innovative business models that benefit low-income individuals.

Tom became an independent consultant focussing on private sector development following a number of management roles, mainly in the tea sector. He has completed assignments for DFID, GIZ, the World Bank and UNDP, among others. Tom’s main interest is the contribution that the private sector can make toward addressing poverty and disadvantage.
