Global philanthropy is at a turning point. It’s under pressure to play a more central role in global development, as advocates hope the world’s ultra-wealthy can help to fill the funding gap. But that has also brought increased scrutiny, with philanthropists facing more challenges over transparency, accountability, and the influence of private individuals. Meanwhile, as a new generation of philanthropists emerges, non-traditional approaches are coming to the fore — from collaborative philanthropy to trust-based giving — that might enable donors to achieve more bang for their buck. We’re bringing together a panel of experts from across the sector to offer inside insight into these changes at a pivotal moment. We’ll discuss:
